Kathleen is from Tyler, Texas. She has lived all over Texas from Galveston to South Padre Island, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas. Most recently living in Van Horn, Texas. She met her future husband, the love of her life, who is a 5th generation Floridian’s being employed by Blue Origin. Together they moved here to Florida where they live with their Bouvier dog, and a lovely saltwater aquarium.

Kathleen is licensed here in Florida as an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). She is Board Certified as a Midwife (CNM), Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), as well as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Kathleen’s undergraduate was from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her desire to help under-served women led her to the Indian reservation in Tuba City, Arizona. She had the opportunity to go straight into Labor and delivery unit that trained her in the OR, Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum. While in Arizona, she also took the time to earn her certification as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). With nothing but work, she took the opportunity to obtain her master’s in nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She graduated with her Nurse-Midwifery Education Program (CNEP) and did her post Master’s in Women’s health. Once again Kathleen found herself in a remote location, this time in Alaska, and went back to school this time for her Family practice. She received her post-master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from South University. Her first position was in a Critical Access Hospital located in Van Horn, Texas.

While Kathleen was in Florida, she noticed PRP and became increasingly interested in the multiple-faceted purpose of this golden elixir. She took a certification class in PRP and started reading medical journal articles and listening to podcasts. It was one of those podcasts where she heard about a new Tony Robbins book. After reading Life Force, by Tony Robbins, and hearing about some amazing breakthroughs in the field of regenerative medicine. She found a position in regenerative medicine, she found herself here at NIVA Health. Here she hopes to continue learning in her new position as she helps patients heal through regenerative medicine.

Francesca is a nurse practitioner that provides quality care to the adult gerontological population.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Marygrove College where she obtained her first degree in Health Sciences. To further her education, Francesca received her second degree in Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing, both from Oakland University in the state of Michigan.

As a registered nurse since 2013, her professional experience and level of expertise consisted of providing care to patient populations in a variety of medical specialties including Hematology/Oncology, Palliative and Hospice Care, Home Health Care-Hospice, Skilled Nursing, Case Management, and Wound Care.

She transitioned into an advanced practice registered nurse and is managing and treating the adult population that suffers from acute and chronic wounds. The ultimate driving factor and goal is to provide compassionate care utilizing a patient centered approach and treating each patient with dignity and respect. Education is a key aspect that is provided along the patient’s journey that will impact how they feel about their care, how it will affect adherence to wound care, and ultimately will lead to better healing outcomes. A motivational quote that is relatable and the driving force when caring for others is the quote by Maya Angelou “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Dr. de Leon is originally from Baltimore, MD in 1994 he moved to Palm Coast, Florida where he still lives today. He finished college at the University of Maryland at College Park Class of 1983. In 1987 he graduated from Medical School from West Visayas State University College of Medicine. He went on to have residency training at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore, MD where he graduated in 1994 from the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. de Leon went on to work as a Primary Care Physician for Florida Health Care Plans for the past 27 years in Palm Coast, Florida. He is now the supervising physician for the Florida NIVA Health offices. In his free time he enjoys boating, fishing and golf. He loves to eat seafood and enjoys his way around the kitchen to cook varies dishes.

For over 14 years, Dr. Rafael Foss has been a distinguished leader in the field of wellness lifestyle programs, natural pain treatments and cutting edge therapies, including anti-aging and aesthetics services. Over 40,000 people have enjoyed the health benefits and transformational power of Dr. Foss’s health centers, now collectively known as NIVA Health. According to Dr. Foss “to doctor means to teach” and teaching healthy lifestyle choices and lifestyle potential is his top priority. Dr. Foss grew up with many health challenges, including allergies, asthma, and severe back pain due to scoliosis. These challenges drove him to create a pathway to better health for himself and to share that path with as many people as possible. His passion empowers others to live their full expression of health and thereby positively impact themselves, their families, and their community.

Dr. Foss is the founder of NIVA Health, which has become one of the nation’s premier and fastest growing natural health centers. He has been featured on ABC, NBC, CW, FOX, and many talk radio stations across the country to share his knowledge. Dr. Foss’s approach focuses on supporting and utilizing the body’s ability to heal itself by creating and maintaining homeostasis within the body.

Dr. Foss received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from S.U.N.Y. Albany, NY. He is a board certified chiropractic physician and completed his studies in applied kinesiology. He received a Doctor of Pastoral Science and Medicine license from the Professional Wellness Alliance and received training under the Carrick Institute Neurology Diplomate Program. Dr. Foss is also a member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, a non-profit that serves the community on a regular basis through educational talks with a focus on disease prevention.

Dr. Foss, his wife Alina, and their daughter currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida. His family enjoys going to the beach, exercising, and experimenting with delicious and healthy foods.

Michelle was born and raised in Michigan. With a goal to become an advanced practice registered nurse, she started her nursing journey by receiving her bachelors in nursing from Oakland University. After receiving her bachelors, she went to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to receive her Masters in Nursing, becoming a family nurse practitioner. Michelle has a passion for helping those in need. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. Michelle is excited to focus on providing quality care, with hopes of transforming the healthcare field with each patient she encounters!

Dr. James Joseph is a board-certified family medicine physician who has specialized in regenerative medicine for more than 20 years. Dr. Joseph received his medical degree from Michigan State University in 1998 and then completed a fellowship in regenerative medicine. He has completed additional studies in stem cell harvesting, orthopedic application of stem cell therapy, and advanced aesthetics. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Joseph is the Supervising Physician for the Michigan and Illinois NIVA Health offices.

Cynthia Trujillo Planadeball, born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, is a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving at NIVA Health in Orlando. With over 13 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Cynthia has held a variety of pivotal roles throughout her distinguished career. 
Cynthia’s extensive career includes positions such as Nursing Professor, where she earned the position of Director of the Federal Workforce Program for Nursing Students, Infection Preventionist at AdventHealth Care Centers, Assistant Operations Manager at Orlando Health, and Director of Nursing at a skilled nursing facility. In each role, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to improving patient care and safety. 
In 2016, Cynthia achieved her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice from Universidad del Turabo, Puerto Rico. She is dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her expertise and dedication have been evident through her significant contributions to the field of infection control, including over 32 tag-free surveys on Infection Control by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and four deficiency-free visits from the Joint Commission, which accredits healthcare organizations and programs in the United States to ensure they provide safe and high-quality care. 
Cynthia is an active member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and has been recognized for her excellence and leadership in nursing with awards such as the Florence Nightingale Daisy Award and a Leadership Award. 
Cynthia’s passion for health and the education of her patients will not stop at the Master’s level, as she is already looking to start a Doctorate by the beginning of next year. She finds in NIVA Health the perfect opportunity to provide the latest and most innovative services, continually striving to enhance the quality of healthcare and patient outcomes in every position she undertakes.

Michael Sevick is a double board-certified nurse practitioner. His breadth of medical experience was initially procured as a registered nurse in a fast-paced regional hospital beginning in 2008. He transitioned into the home-health environment after nearly a decade. This allowed him to manage patient care from an entirely different vantage point. He decided to evolve as a clinician and earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a family practice specialty. The 15 year span of his career has allowed him to treat patients in the areas of cardiovascular, stroke, renal, GI, infectious diseases and post-operative care.

He has had the privilege to diagnose and treat patients requiring pain management, and psychiatric care. This has allowed him to observe the relationship between mental health and the perception of pain. Michael has gained experience in performing fluoroscopy guided interventional procedures to mitigate pain in addition to pharmacological methods. It has become clear to Michael that other alternatives should be considered, in many cases, to avoid the intense use of pharmaceuticals and surgical intervention. This is why he is proud to be a part of the NIVA team.

Dr. Phillip Ulyanovskiy is a distinguished Family Medicine trained physician with expertise in Hospitalist Medicine, Primary Care, Telemedicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Regenerative Medicine. With a passion for comprehensive patient care, Dr. Ulyanovskiy has dedicated his career to merging traditional medical practices with innovative approaches to optimize patient outcomes. 

After completing his medical degree, Dr. Ulyanovskiy pursued specialized training in Family Medicine, honing his skills in providing personalized care to individuals of all ages. His commitment to continuous learning led him to explore Hospitalist Medicine, where he thrives in the dynamic environment of acute care settings and intensive care, managing complex medical cases and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. 

Recognizing the importance of preventive medicine, Dr. Ulyanovskiy embraced Primary Care and Lifestyle Medicine, empowering his patients to take control of their health through lifestyle modifications and holistic interventions. He believes in the power of education and collaboration to promote long-term wellness and disease prevention. 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ulyanovskiy is at the forefront of Regenerative Medicine, leveraging cutting-edge research and technology to explore regenerative medicine’s potential in treating a variety of medical conditions. He remains committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field to offer his patients the most innovative and effective treatment options available. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Ulyanovskiy has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to patient-centered care, earning him a reputation as a compassionate and trusted healthcare provider. He is known for his excellent communication skills, empathy, and commitment to providing personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. 

Dr. Ulyanovskiy’s professional achievements, coupled with his unwavering commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care, make him a valuable asset to the medical community and a beacon of excellence in the field of Family Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, Primary Care, Lifestyle Medicine, Telemedicine and Regenerative Medicine as well. In the end Dr. Ulyanovskiy seeks to treat his patients like family, with competence, compassion and commitment.

Kristy was raised in Jacksonville, Florida and started her journey in the medical profession 24 years ago working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in long term care facilities. Kristy is also a United States Air Force Veteran in which she served 10 years as an Emergency Medical Technician/Flight Medic.

Kristy obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2015. Kristy is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kristy’s goal in patient care is to help restore and repair damaged cells with natural remedies in hopes to address the root cause of an individual’s pain.

In her spare time, Kristy enjoys home improvement projects, spending time with family and friends and reading/learning new things.

Indya Willingham was born and raised in Michigan which is where she currently resides. She started her medical career as a hemodialysis technician in 2010 while she worked on her education in Nursing. In 2015 she graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing from ITT Technical Institute in Canton, MI. She continued her career in Nephrology as a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse and in Feb 2016 she decided to further her education to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from South University in Novi, MI. She graduated from South University in 2017 and took a break while pursuing a new career opportunity in Home Dialysis, where she taught patients how to complete their dialysis at home. She decided to focus on motherhood and work until 2020 where she decided that her passion for patient care and education needed to continue and she started her journey to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2022 she graduated with honors from Chamberlain University and became a board certified Nurse Practitioner. In her spare time she enjoys traveling across the world, making memories with her son and husband, and enjoying the company of her family and friends. She is excited to embark on her new career path with NIVA Health.

Office Managers

Erica is a seasoned health care professional with over two decades of experience in the medical field. Graduating from Antelope Valley Medical College with her CMA, she embarked on a journey marked by dedication and compassion. Her expertise spans across various specialties including nephrology, cardiology, and primary care.

Transitioning from a medical assistant to an office manager in cardiology, Erica has honed her skills in leadership and administration over the years. With a career deeply rooted in providing top-notch healthcare, she has been committed to ensuring the well-being and comfort of her patients.

Outside of her professional life, Erica finds joy in the outdoors and embraces adventure, evident in her passion for skydiving. With six children spanning a wide age range, she prioritizes the demands of her personal and professional life with grace and resilience.

As a valued member of the NIVA Health team, Erica embodies a commitment to excellence and a drive to continuously grow and evolve in her field. She looks forward to embracing the opportunities that lie ahead, both personally and professionally, while continuing to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.

Danielle is a young professional who has 8+ years within the medical field. She has received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University studying Health Administration and Sports Medicine. Danielle has been an Office Administrative Assistant role for 7 of the 8 years she has been in healthcare. She has worked with numerous private clinics and hospitals including St. Joseph, which is now Trinity Health, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Her recent role was being a practice manager at a private primary care clinic in Madison Heights. It was in this role, that her love for helping patients become their best selves were solidified. She feels that each patient deserves the proper care and education to assist with making them the best version of themselves. 

As a dedicated Office Manager at NIVA Health, Michelle plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Melbourne, Florida facility.  Michelle comes with 3 years of experience in the healthcare field.  She is committed to supporting her team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.

Michelle’s journey in healthcare began in 2021, she is compassionate and committed to people and their goals to be able to live their best life.  She’s happy and excited in making a positive impact both professionally and personally.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her 4 children and embracing their activities to also live their best life.

Lanita is a dedicated professional with a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University, boasting over 25 years of experience in the medical industry. For over a decade Lanita has led teams and traveled globally, contributing to biomedical research through organ and tissue harvesting. Her heart beams with joy thanks to her amazing adult children and cherished grandchildren. In her free time, Lanita finds solace and adventure traveling the world with her husband, who she says is her closest confidant and companion.
